The mission of the Department of Education Ministries at Providence Baptist Church is to nurture and extend the Christian community by the development of effective teaching ministries.

Specifically, this department is committed to unifying, supporting and undergirding the ministries of proclamation the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching, worship, fellowship, witness, and service and by helping the community to:

• Understand and express the Good News of the Gospel.
• Practice the disciplines of worship, Bible study and prayer.
• Discover and experience the meaning of Christian fellowship.
• Incorporate the truth of the Gospel into our daily lives.
• Share our faith by communicating the Gospel in word and in deed.
• To respond to the needs of the world through Christian service.
