Our vision is to provide to the communtity an exceptional, state of the art facility to be utilized with confidence and pride. Our foundation is based of service and responsiblity to the community. Providence Baptist Church will develop and implement ministries and services that will enhance the spiritual status of the community, as well as personal growth. We strive to exceed the expectations of those we service, maintain spiritual standards of the highest quality, promote a pleasant environment and provide resources of the highest professional state.

OUR VISION

Providence Baptist Church of Germantown will be recognized as a dedicated community-based church that produces a Christ-commanded product called a disciple--the kind of person who bears fruits of the spirit and who glorifies God.

We seek to develop and implement programs and services that will enhance the spiritual status of the community. We strive to exceed the expectations of those it serves, maintain religious and spirtual standards of the highest quality, and will promote a rewarding spiritual environment.

We seek to teach the scriptures (II Tim 3:16-17; II Tim 4:1-2), transform lives (Col 1:28-30; II Cor 19:10-19); we seek to be a dynamic church (Acts 2:42-47); and we strive to have an enthusiastic spirit (Rom 1:14-16)

Mission and Confession

At the heart of Providence is a shared belief that we are to be recognized as a dedicated community based church that exists to share and spread the love of Christ to our community (Matt 28:19-20).

OUR MISSION

Providence Baptist Church of Germantown exists to share and spread the love of Christ to our community (Matthew 28: 18-20).

We are obedient to the Bible, the Word of God. We are sensitive and helpful to the varied needs of the people in our communtity. We preach the gospel of salvation through Christ Jesus. We direct those who would be led to Christ. We teach and train followers of Christ to share and spread the love of Christ. We glorify God in all we do.

Growth and Stability

We will strive to promote and provide resources to secure competence in a rapidly changing world; to participate in developing positive and supportive services to empower one another to accomplish spiritual and personal growth of one's own relative level.

We will face each challenge with compassion, state of the art services, confidence and pride. We will maintain a spirit of openess which will foster respect, personal growth and stability in a meaningful and enriching environment.

Personal Vision

That I would have developed a community based church that produces a Christ-commanded product called disciples.
That I would have developed ministries and services that enhance the spiritual status of the community in which I serve.
That I would be recognized as a pastor who went beyond the expectations of those I serve.
That I would be recognized as one who has maintained religious and spiritual standards of the highest quality.
That I would have promoted a rewarding spiritual environment for those I serve.
That I would be recognized as one who has taught scriptures and, as a result, many lives have been transformed.
That I would have either purchased or led the construction of an educational facility for the purpose of training those who would be led my Christ.
That I would have either purchased or led the construction of a building that would be used as an emergency center in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
